I wanted to inform the group of a new iPhone and iPad application that my husband and I created to try to make learning the Quran fun for our son. I feel we don't have enough Islamic teaching methods involving technology, games, and fun - this is why we created Quran Star.
It is an innovative app that combines several things no other Quran app does: awards for reaching milestones, a "Huroofmeter" that counts how many letters you have read, integration into Facebook/twitter to update family of your progress, the ability to record and share audio clips, translations into 10+ languages, and more.
